This really was the perfect way to end this amazing series. The writing was beautiful and the letters... wow, each and every one left me speechless.
The Hopeless Romantic Book Blog.

It's raw, confronting and at times absolutely heart-shattering.
On the flip side it's beautiful, heart-warming and downright sinfully delicious.
It was everything we expected and more........SO MUCH MORE!!

It's just a box of letters, right?
Words that were written a long time ago.
From a boy to the girl that he missed. From a man to the woman he loved. But what if those words carried more impact[AW1] than anyone realised? Will they finally give Georgia the closure she needs and lessen the guilt she battles every day? Or will everything she thought she knew about the boy and man who wrote them and the life they shared be forever altered? All will be revealed in The Letters. A story about life, love, and acceptance.
This novella is book 4 in the Carnage Series. Carnage books 1&2 and Marley should be read first.

The Letters A Carnage Novella edition by Lesley Jones Literature Fiction eBooks

If you haven't read the Carnage Series stop what you are doing and read it NOW!

What can I say about this series that has broken my heart again & again, has put it back together again and again and has made me feel more love for characters I feel as if they are my family.

The Letters was absolutely hands down NOT what I thought it would be, what I had in mind can't even compare to the epicness that this series is. For me, this book was Cam's book I know it wasn't, but I felt he had so much to give in the Carnage series and The Letters showed who he was, what he was, And who he continues to be.

The tears continue but In a different way, I felt happy I felt complete I felt like it's time to finally move on. But in honesty every single one of these characters was brilliantly written and I never want to say goodbye. I am and always will be TEAM CAM so I devoured every single word he had to say!

I will never ever forget where this story started from and where it has ended. Must must read.

Lesley Jones, that ending!!!! I can't wait for what's too come.

The Letters A Carnage Novella edition by Lesley Jones Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

The Carnage series has always been one of my favorite series. I became so attached with Sean, Georgia, Cam and the whole Carnage Family. That being said, when I've known Lesley Jones will be publishing The Letters, I was beyond ecstatic. I was willing to get my heart broken again and again and I expected lots of tears. But then, the book wasn't what I expected at all, it was more; I was yet taken again to another incredible journey in the life of Cam and G; the guilt, heartbreak and their strong love for each other. I feel like I was right there along with Georgia and feeling every single emotion. I may have laugh more than cried. But there was this particular part in the book that I just have to put my kindle down and digest what Sean's message to Georgia was. The Letters was heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. I have always been and will forever be TEAM SEAN but this book makes me love and appreciate Cam more. I love that G has the best support system a girl could ever have. Jim and Ash were the best friends I wish I could have. I love their craziness just as much I love how they give G the right perspective when she needed it the most. The letters was the perfect novella to wrap up the whole Carnage series. I love it as much as the previous 3 books. and that ending??? OMG, hahaha...
I’ve sat for a while now trying to write my review but I feel like nothing I write will do it justice. Let me start by saying that this series has been one of my all-time favorite series since book 1 and this novella has made it even better.

This novella was like catching up with old friends. From page one, I was hooked. I didn’t want to stop reading. I laughed…and I mean, snorted laughed. I cried, man did I cry and I felt so much for these characters. In fact, I’m surprised at some of my feelings towards certain characters. I don’t know why I’m surprised because that’s just Lesley Jones for you. She has a way of pulling you into a story and making you feel ever single emotion the characters feel. Her words create this world and these people that you can’t help but care for, you want more of these characters, you don’t want to leave this world.

I adore these characters so much and I will miss them terribly but it’s nice to get closure and finally move on. I will hold this series close to my heart always. I will miss the Carnage family and will continue to re-read for many years to come.
I don't think anything I could put into a review will do Lesley Jones any justice.
This is the ABSOLUTE best ending (?) to Carnage......its closure, its a bit heartbreaking, its just soooo perfect.
I can read Cam and Georgia's story and Sean and Georgia's story forever, whether it be in the form of letters or flashbacks or someone else's point of view (Marley!!!)
If you want to read the best ugly cry story ever, you must read Carnage 1, The Story of Us and Carnage 2, The Story of Me, along with Marley and The Letters.
This book takes you to the life that Cam and Georgia are now living........they're close to their 50's and living with all their kids and a dog and just being normal, if you can use that word with these two.
The letters that Georgia has been avoiding for so many years, written to her from Sean, finally get the better of her curiosity and she starts to read them. Some are pretty heartbreaking and G just kind of caves! Not sure if I could've done it.
This book is beautifully written, of course, because its Lesley Jones!! She knows how to make you laugh and boy does she know how to make you cry! And, yeah, you'll cry, but you'll be happy that you did.
There are not many authors that do that for me, but this one definitely does!
Hands down, the best novella I have ever read ☆☆☆☆☆

The Letters is the culmination of the Carnage tale. Please make sure you read the other books (Carnage, Carnage 2 and Marley) first and...of course, there is always room for more stories from this family. -) This novella is written in current day. Georgia needs to go through the chest of memorabilia for Sean's 50th celebration and charity event in hopes of finding song possibilities for the band to perform. This chest includes the letters he wrote to her when they weren't together. This is a mix of current day story and letters so chock full of memories and answers, if you are a fan of this series, it is a must read. Don't miss this fantastic book. I'm so in love with this entire family I want to crawl inside these books and live there.
A great ending to the Sean/George/Cam story. Although the book wasn't quite what I expected, it didn't fail to draw me in and make me feel the emotions all over again. Although it wasn't an ugly cry (thank you for that Lesley Jones), I still kept the tissues nearby for those happy and sad tears. There was also some comical stuff that parents who have ever had teenagers can relate too. No kids, your parents are not too old to have sex....lol. I always liked Cam but I appreciated him more this time around. Fate has a funny way of working and Carnage was proof.
